Records indicate that there has been a church on this site in Stokenchurch since the 11th Century. Much has changed over the years and yet some things are still very much the same.
Today, we are a village church – which means that almost everyone involved in the church comes from within the local area: the parish of Stokenchurch.
Also, we are a family church – which means we try to be a church for people of all ages and from all backgrounds.
And we are an Anglican church – which means that all our church structures and services come from that great tradition that started in the 16th Century. Our style is generally low-church.
Our services on a Sunday are at 9:30 am and we run a full Sunday school programme right through the year. We also run groups for adults and children during the week.
Details of all these, and more about the history and the mission of the church can be found on these pages and on the church notice boards.
